Meet the Couple Behind ACLM Shop

Hi, we're James and Katie, a Nurse and graphic designer duo on a mission to bring joy to the frontline. ACLM Shop was born out of two things: stress and the humor to get through it all.

As an ER and Travel nurse, James has lived through the harshest parts of the job: unsafe staffing ratios, combative patients, broken systems, and the kind of burnout that makes you question why you ever chose this career. He’s seen firsthand how humor, personality, and small acts of self-expression are sometimes the only things that get us through a shift.

That’s where Katie comes in. She’s not a nurse, but she’s spent years listening, supporting, and turning James’ worst work stories into light-hearted, expressive designs that reflect the reality of what healthcare workers do… and what we wish we could say out loud.

Together, we created ACLM Shop to help nurses, CNAs, RTs, techs and anyone working in the chaos of patient care—feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Our badge reels, stickers, and accessories are made with humor, honesty, and a whole lot of love. Whether you’re clocking in for another double, stuck in a hallway with no supplies, or just trying to make it to lunch break, you deserve something that’s just for you.
